DM800 HD SS69 + BH07 + Drivers present in BH011G2 - Possible ?

What is the latest version of dvb-modules (drivers) we can install on dm800 supporting ss72 ? with and without replacing de cardreader and tuner drivers ?
Someone have tried dreambox-dvb-modules 20091014 ?

i have tried 20/07/09 and it have worked (i replaced both files bcm7401.ko and stb-core.ko)

14/10/2009 drivers work on clones.
Better than 7/9/2009 one? I'm not sure.
Also with 5/10/2009 drivers I'm not sure they are better than 7/9/2009... but they work.

I'm still without any way to update drivers on clones without replacing cardreader and tuner drivers.

1. download drivers package
2. rename to drivers.ipk
3. open DCC (FTP) and copy drivers.ipk to /tmp
4. go to DCC telnet and install drivers by typing ipkg install /tmp/drivers.ipk -nodeps
5. replace tuner and cardreader drivers (pack jams01) - remember attributes 644!
6. reboot DM800

on the BH011G2 version wich include ss72 found on the 8a8f8 forum, it's 2009/06/30 wich is included...
i don't have done tests to check it, because those days, i work on mac, and don't have pc with serial port in case of brick...

There's no way to update drivers in modified Nab BH11 ss72 without replacing cardreader and tuner drivers: you need to replace them or you will see error window in your image.
But you can replace them by using DCC, not serial port. I'm sure this will NOT lock your DM800, so you don't need to flash with serial.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I prefer 7/9/2009 drivers: 5/10/2009 and 14/10/2009 drivers seem to report too many tuner fail (tested on clone and original DM800).

Please wait mate... above we are speaking about 72 clone, not 69.

Remember 69 problems with cardreader!
Don't change cardreader's driver in your 69 clone: this can lock your 800.

i have dreambox with BL69 and i replaced the cardreader file and end with stop at initial ozoon reboot
i repeated the procedure without replacement of cardreader file and everything is ok now,so do not replace cardreader file if you have BL69 as my friends said above
my procedure
1- i have installed latest pure ozoon into flash by internet explorer method
2- before restarting the dreambox i load the ss69.nfi by internet explorer
3- restart the dreambox and configure it for network and everything ok except for tuner failure,restart the dreambox again
4-i load latest driver moduls(14-10-2009) by dcc
5-i have replaced the file bcm7401.ko only by dcc/ftp
6-i have installed latest patched barry allen 5.0.8 successfully

Look at the first page of this post, the response from way75
you need firstly to install secondstage 74 in DCC,
after and only after updating secondstage you will be capable to update correctly drivers...
Way75 say :

- open DCC E2 ---> Tools ---> IPKG Packages
- update your DB to ss#74
- update your drivers with latest release
- go to FTP (DCC tool)
- delete both bcm7401.ko and stb-core.ko in /lib/modules/ 2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm800/extra
- copy bcm7401.ko e stb-core.ko included in "DM800 clone full pack - by jams01" to /lib/modules/ 2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm800/extra
- shutdown your DB
- start DreamUP universal 1.3.3.4 and flash your secondstage (69.nfi for you, 70.nfi for me) included in "DM800 clone full pack".
- reboot your DB.

This can be good news for clone owners. Strange episode, but I believe what you are saying.
Every new info about clone upgrade increases knowledge, thanks for your report.

First thanks to all specially to way75 for his useful tips
i took what written in all these nice posts and built modified drivers to work with clones without replacing any files and to install like those for original

Latest drivers 14-10-2009 modified for dm800 clones

what i have done,just used my little skill in building the driver package again
i have two driver packages on for ss69 dreambox and other for ss70 and above
in ss69-dreambox driver i have replaced only the tuner driver file with the one came with antituner pack and i left the one for cardreader.
in the second modified package for ss70+above-dreamboxes i replaced the two files and rebuild the package again
to install simply by dcc-upload packages to any image in flash,
remote control problem and tuner problems and cardreader problems will be fixed(except for those with ss69 cardreader probelm will not be fixed)
test them at your own risk

Latest patched images supposed to contain drivers to fix remote control poor performance but because patched images are from different resources i advice to install recent original and apply patched recent drivers

The images milo and oozoon work fine, only repleace the secondstage 69.

Maybe it is time to bite the bullet and ask your supplier for bl72 sim or later.
