DM 500 lock and sync 36e

Hello good people in the house, I just got my DM 500 and and won't lock or sync with any other tp on Eutelsat 36 except 11941H 27500 and no other TP; it also locks and syncs with w3a tps for africa.
To solve this I removed all tp and input those for sub sahara africa ( mca) that i get highly on my srt 4910 but it still wont lock and sync. I tried manual scan and input the tp one by one and still same even when at SNR 80% and AGC 90%. I have flashed with nabilo dark star II image and repeated all the above and nothing is happening.
I have also tried solution by using non standard user defined configuration and still problem persist. please what must i do to solve this to get the rest of Tp for 36E sub sahara africa beam?

Its possible you need to make a new satellite.xml to included all the latest frequencies

You can make one on this site

The transfer the file to var etc and reboot. Then try a rescan.

You have to transfer the file via FTP most will use DCC to do this.

Look at this guide for key transfer but procedure is same for all files.

I have been able to transfer satellite.xml with the new w7 tps to the dm500s, and to my findings the frequency number i see displayed by the channel is higher than the value i put in manually- the difference is by 5. so, i decided to add 5 to every frequency and all the channels popped out. thank u guys - how can i edit the satellite.xml before transferring to var.

Just use wordpad to edit and the ftp to var/etc
