OK time for me to say what I know
I talked with Duolabs today and also many months ago about what a new CAM might do and benefit the client and it's important to point out that the new CAM is
the Diablo 2 is already available - buy a QBOXHD and you have one inside that recevier already
when a new CAM is available and I'm not saying it's going to be 15 Novemeber (Mid-Novemeber) then it will be more money than the existing Diablo (1) hardware version 2.3
the new Diablo (2) will have Hardware version 3.9 or 4.0 we don't know yet
the CAM as sold will do nothing more than the current CAM but that may change with third party support of course the new CAM is more powerful than the old but I'm told source codes for the 2.2 / 2.3 Diablo will soon be made public which presumably will open the door for even more third party software for that CAM
today we sell this CAM (the most popular in Europe) for just 55 GBP ex VAT - in spite of this many people pay 79 - 95 GBP for the CAM from other dealers and are very happy they got value for money
I've already been sent several emails about the new CAM so anyone who asks a question I will answer and I will keep their email and post them supply news when I have it
Even if you see dealers advertising a new Diablo 2 CAM be very careful !!!!
In UK Duolabs official supplier will be the first to have these CAMs that's a fact - we are the official UK source for Duolabs products and we get physical stock before anyone else - unlike everyone else I also won't put the product on my website until I know it's paid for and shipped at the very earliest - so don't think you can get it because you can see it on someone else's site
some people will claim that the Diablo 2 is the current CAM diablo Version 2.3 - I've told Rick this is all very confusing so the Diablo 2 might not even be the final name for the new CAM when it comes out but if it does it'll probably be referred to by it's hardware version 3.9 or 4.0 to save confusing it with the Diablo (1) which had versions 2.0 (never seen in the public) 2.1 sent to some dealers but never sold to joe public either 2.2 this was a massive seller up until April 2008 when it was replaced by the current best seller version 2.3 - for at least 12 Months after the launch of the v 2.3 it was also possible to upgrade a 2.2 to 2.3
OK I've been typing off the top of my head to tell you what I know that's the state of play.
