Dead Vu plus Solo DEAD

i have by an VU+ SOLO box, got it today.
plug it into the wall and got menu and so on with original image, then i thougt i will first update to v5 image, since the update my box do not show anything anymore.

i have try to update the box with VTI lates, with Power of Dream and Original lates but the box seems dead to me as nothing is shown on my TV.

when i take the box out of electicity and plug it in again i see just an Green light in front but that is all, if i press the remonte butosn then i see that it flashes , but i do not see what is going on from there i just see that the remonte comunicates with the box.


has anyone had this problem before ? or does anyone what has happend, is this box dead ? or is there something i can do ?

i have try to flash this with box with usb and serial and still the same

pleas any help is very much need it and apriotiated

hi,
it seems that your power supply unit(psu) is the problem
sometimes you can spotted a few blown resistors.
or
maybe can you replace the psu from an another VU+Solo for a moment ?

well i have now managed to fix the box.
i did fianly flashed back to old softwre 4.9 then nothing happend, then i flashed back to 5.0 and i got life back on the box

seems something had hang on the flash and was not delited from the memory, anyway im very happy the box is alive and working nice now.

vu+solo stuck as dead

I have the same problem with vu+solo i have recently just bought.It had blackhole 1.7.6.When i switched it on for the first time all went well but suddenly went black screen with green led.I tried to reborn it by flashing both with serial and usb but still stuck with green led.Is there:mecry: any way to reborn it or is it dead thanks in advance.

sounds for me,that you fergot to flash the bootloader (cfe)!

for tests,try to run an old image,as example BH 1.4.2!

there you dont need that booloader!

of that old image works so you found the error
