DCC

DCC shows that telnet and ftp connected.
But shows below that bootloader not found. What could be the reason for this and what does the bootloader do for my 500s. I used the recent gemini image.

Please advise.

Are you sure that it doesn't say "Bootmanager: not found." ?
Doubt you'd have ftp or telnet connection if you were missing a bootloader.

Here this is what I get while connecting in DCC. I can transfer files using it through FTP. All works fine why does is show like that below

Rocknroll please help me on this issue. I don't know how to solve it. Maybe that's why my dreambox hangs at channels.

What exactly is the problem. From what I understand everything is working fine for you.

Bootloader not Found is just a message by DCC.

In the early days ( some years ago ) there was a Plugin from Megatron , with that Plugin you could use a sort Multiboot option .

The Plugin was Called ; Dreamflash .

Some DieHard`s still use it ,butt its Oldfashion , and every One use FlashWizard Now ( for Enigma1 ) and the enigma2 Users use BarryAllen .

So... forget that message.. its not Inportant. ( just Ignore it ).

Thanks a lot for giving me that solution. I tried everything to get rid of it and was even trying to jtag. I was worried because my dreambox hangs and reboots by itself, what could be the solution for this.

The Dm500-s has a limited Space.

Dont Install to much , just 1 emu and some plugins.

Remove Keys from keyfiles that you dont use or need.

When the Box is to Full , the Box is getting Buggy and you get problems.

When you Install a Fresh Image .. use DreamUp

can not connect to DM500s

can't recognose DM IP.

Once put IP same as dm500s, initially it show telnet connect then within 2-3 sec its says, telenet disconnet.

plz guide me how to install or set-up network via aethernet port?

Hi

Have you tried using the search function in network confguration.

This should pull up all the IP's on you network.

You can also search for you IP's under windows.

Start-Run then type cmd them at the prompt type.

ipconfig /all
