before you do anything take the lid off and just check all the push fit connectors are secure push them home.

hello i have bought the blackbox 500s and this item comes directly from china, the problem is it's arrived in my contry(Luxembourg) but they ask me for the declaration of conformity CE if i can' get it they will send it back or destroy it so have anyone this document ? what should i do ?

I have a problem with my clone DM500s. I had famous adios amigos problem. Then I can flash a boatloader with JTAG by parallel port with Dm500JtagAIO. It is an alps tuner so i flash the alps version boatloader. Everything goes ok. Then i disconnect the JTAG and power it up again. But i cannot connect with DreamUp by serial cable. I have the correct null model cable and i also tried several dreamup version. I tried the latets version and also 1.2.1.5 and one special for dm500 DreamUp500.exe. No succes. The green led is on when i power it up, but nothing reacts. I do the correct order of first clicking connect and then power up the dreambox.
Please help what is the problem here???

My Dreambox DM500s clone is dead! At least, I think so.. A bought it this summer, it worked fine till today. When I turn it on I get a solid green led but no image on my TV-screen! After that the green led goes out after 3-5 minutes! What is going on? Yesterdag everything was working just fine! Please someone help me, because I don't know anything about these things...

I have a dm500s the picture froze while watching an fta channel and was not connected to the internet at that time. After powering it off then powering it back on it will not start only the green power LED is on all the time. I tried the DOS version jtag and windows version jtag with no success. Can anybody help...

Same problem. Picture froze while watching. Green LED still on even after power off/on. No reaction to remote control or standby button of dreambox itself. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

For the beginning try another power supply unit. Sometimes problem are in power supply unit or even in power cord. If that not helps look deeply in forum and You can find answer.

ouch seems the need to jtag is not just limited to gemini images it is quiete possible with the eraseall command through telnet to kill the boot partition
