Gom player can play the recorded video files (.trp) from youre harddisk of youre reciever on pc or laptop, without converting.
First time you maybe have to clic ``find codecs``(pc have to be connected to internet).
Works with my recorded CT 5000C+ Files.

The encoder can change them in a other file type if you wish.

Video files works fine, but how to play the subtitles. File with .idx extension is there but doesnt show the subtitle. I try several programs to change subtitle format and no result. All converters say that is unrecognised format. Thanks in advance.

Sub title

I dont understand youre problem compleet
When i play recorded files i have original sub title.
When you run gomplayer click right on mouse in the left upper corner (gomplayer logo).
You can put a V at subtitle
I did not need that, maybe by you its off

The receiver play recorded video file without subtitles. But on the disk is idx file, the same name as recorded file. the same problem is in GOM player.

Is it on one recording or on all?
Maybe files are damaged. because you also have no subtitles on youre reciever when you play them.
Are they still all the original files or did you rename/convert them?
When i start the .trp videofile i become also the subtitles on screen,so i dont have to do anything with the .idx file.

It is on all recording. I tried to record many times on different channels but the result is always the same. The original files are on the usb stick. Subtitles don't show up on screen.

Sorry i dont think i know a sollution.
Do you have subtitle when you watch live channel?
I know in the past the CT 2100 had problems with some countrys subtitles.
Install latest firmware?
Maybe someone else in this forum knows or contact Clarketech.

Is there some possibility to watch video files on CT HD5000CP, such as *.avi, *.mkv, etc? Maybe some videoplayer for CT, such as MP3?
