Is this version for flash, usb stick, HDD or all 3

Am i right in thinking as the web interface is functioning we dont need to mess with the setenv settings?

Thanks

Guys,

A quick question, how do you extract the ddtklan.tar.gz to usb stick i am having trouble with the nlb image that because its not a img file i cant dual boot with webif

and because i use windows i cant load the usb stick as its in ext3 partition so i downloaded ext2fsd which allowed me to see the ext partition on the usb i then used power archiver to extra the tar.gz file to the usb stick do i need to change sentenv in telnet to boot from usb stick.

I was just wondering does someone have a method of how these tar.gz are extracted to usb stick and then how to get it too boot from usb stick?

Use a FTP program such as DCC or RCC m8

Select FTP, then mnt,usb then if stick is there it should have a USB0 file

Then locate your enigma2 file, once its been unzipped to reveal a tar file, on right hand side transfer it across

Then using Telnet

You need to type cd /mnt/usb/usb0 & enter

followed by tar xvzf & the name of your file as its stored under your stick & enter

You should then see it loading onto USB stick via Telnet-u will see loads of commands on telnet

When its finished you will get the cuberevo comand prompt

The setenv settings should by done by console mode & by doing this it allows u to decide whether u want nlb image loaded or usb one

Good luck hope u get further than i did!
