Hi Guys,
I have a starnge problem. I have installed the BH 142B image and ever since my CCcam has stopped working. Although everything seems working like I have tried h**p://192.168.**.**.:16001/ and it does take me to the CCCam but it does not clear any channel. Everything else seems to be fine have spent over 24 hours on it but failed to come up with a solution. Tried all sort of images and CCcam but still the same result. I have now installed CCcam 2.1.4. and 2.2.1. but both the same.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

So you have tried other images by what your saying and other versions of CCcam. It appears CCcam is running as your can use the CCcam web interface .

So that only really leaves your connection to the outside world in and out. I would check you have the relevant ports open in your router.

Thank you guys for the replies. I have used CCcam 2.1.3, 2.1.4. and 2.2.1 all the same. I haven't actually changed anything in the router, so I am not sure whether it would be the router. I have also tried to go back to my previous image BH-De 1.3.3.E and F but the same result. I have also tried VIX image but no luck. Is there anyway I could format the box and reinstall the image? I feel something has gone wrong as the PC to the Box connection through Router is also not very stable, everytime I either need to change the Box IP or its host name only then its reconnected to the PC. It was fine previously with the BH 1.3.3.E image. I am now regretting the time I wanted to upgrade the image. ANy help would be greatly appreciated please. For the time being I can only view the free to air channel.

No its my own IP, I have never used DHCP. Now I have installed the Original 5.4 version and then VIX 1.3 as it is based on the 5.4 version. Then I updated the software and then installed the CCcam 221 nothing happened then I tried CCcam 2.1.3 same no channles only free-to-air channel. I have started and restarted the CCcam under the Softcam Manager but no luck. This seems to be extremely strange, never faced such problem before. I am seriously thinking of buying a DB now as this has taken a lot of my time without any result. There might be some file which is preventing the CCcam to access the server. But apart from the CCcam everything seems to be OK, like internet, telnet, C-line editor everything.

TIA

Nothing to do with the duo mate. If anything its your network or the lines you have are down or possibly your CCcam.cfg is corrupt

Hello m8,

try this:

1 Dellete cccam all from box.
2 install cccam and... from online "server"
3 just edit your cccam conf on box open it ( with ftp programme you have )and don't replace it with your cccam I mean: just copie and past your clines in cccam cfg and save .

Hope it works, i have got the same problem when i replace the cccam cfg with my cccam cfg directley.

hope it helps.

Hi mate,
Rebooted so many times. The server is up and running. But I don't understand how is it possible that without changing anything the network would affect. I am simply at a loss here.

Hi,
I have done it atleast 3-4 times same result. But let me try again for the 5th time. I have deleted all the cccam, reintalled from the online server. By the way I think I haven't found any cccam.cfg so thats why I had added one myself but I think that shouldn't really make any difference as affectively it has only the c-lines nothing more.

Thanks

When you login to the CCcam webinterface and click on servers does it show you your 4 lines ?

I would delete your config you made and download a cccam version that includes it . It should be there in /etc.

Hi Ferret,
When I goto CCcam Innfo panel and then servers (no 3 option) it foes show the 4 C-lines but apparently there is a red circle before that I am not sure whether its because its not working or is it normal. I am not sure where to download the CCcam with the CCcam.cfg built-in as this is the only option I get it from the online servers, unless I am missing something.

@mejk,
That red circle in your CCcam info panel means either you're not connected to your server or your server is down. But more likely your connection along the way is not achieved! Check if you are able to download if not try changing your Lan cable, I guess.

Hi Thanks,
I have checked the cable, rather changed the cable. The is ale to connect to the net and download and I am also able to connect to the box via the router (box has fixed ip address), so its not the connection problem. I also got another c-line but same result. Changed many images on the box, now running Gemini 3.0 but the end result is the same. Whole heartedly, I have decided to ditch the box. Would be replacing it with the new Clarke-Tech ET9000. Its a new box with minimum support but the specs seems to be better. Lets see what happens, but Duo has really disapointed me. May be its my luck.
