I am still trying to figure it out myself

what I know so far is that when you trace back the address for softcam.tv you find yourself in Bryan, texas, USA. this town is also known as Bryan college station, the Texas A&Muniversity is the biggest employer in town, also has a military program. robbert (Bob) Gates who was a CIA director under Bush1 became the university president after he left the CIA, during his tenure at the university he brought a lot of top secret projects and money to Texas A&M. He left the university after he was asked to become secretary of defence under Bush2. Now, I have a few theories of what this could be, but no fact.
One thing you should do is think of your receiver as a linux based computer, that can take commands through the satellite dish, and not just something you watch TV on.

one thing you can do is run command prompt on a difrent computer and type
ping 4.2.2.4 /t
If you have a stable line your result should be stable and no more than 1% packet lost. you can do this better using a programm called ping plotter.
when you start getting erratic results, simply unplug the cccam device from your network. everything goes back to normal. Usually that is the sign of a DOS attack. you don't have to be running cccam 2.3.0 for this to happen. All you need is a peer with cccam 2.3.0.

I will let you know more when I know more.

Stay calm.
Those info are from a config/script file (witch everybody can change with a text editor) and the links are for a download location (mirror links).
Genuine CCcam is released only by Team Uvadi but the scripts/config files are created/hosted by various groups for various receiver images.
Hosting of the file is done on various servers (usually free) so DNS is changed on regular basis.

SOURCE CODE

TEAM UVADI IS NOW USING A DIFFERENT SOURCE CODE FOR THIS CCCAM?
ALSO WHY IS THERE A DIRECT TCP/UDP CONNECTION IN THIS FILE AND NOT IN ANY OTHER.
Open cccam 2.3.0 with notepad++ and go to line 3643.
you will find this line

htTp{õpf¾ó'§*{ƒ0ý'bzï¢fjqÊ–(/ÐbÀEÕ%É3¾‹4Û¢p˪S

with hex editor
ASCII
htTp{.pf..'..{.0.'b.z..fj.q..(/.b.E.%..3..4..p...S.'+..*..;..=P.$k.'s..&..#..#Q.....2..;..v..).%Z^.>:.@7H.}..(.....h:..5..z..#.%....=..3..p....f.......'`...y.r.t..o..j.mh..`3..veGo.4%..aL.J..uj.&uPO`44'3.....t.Qa..y..f...K..a\"iW.1..&.0....)5..X.4a.6.B=.X`

unfiltered
htTp{.pf..'..{.0.'b.z..fj.q..(/.b.E.%..3..4..p...S.'+..*..;..=P.$k.'s..&..#..#Q.....2..;..v..).%Z^.>:.@7H.}..(.....h:..5..z..#.%....=..3..p....f.......'`...y.r.t..o..j.mh..`3..veGo.4%..aL.J..uj.&uPO`44'3.....t.Qa..y..f...K..a\"iW.1..&.0....)5..X.4a.6.B=.X`

why do we have http in this program and none of the previous ones.Another thing that jumps at me is 443 (44'3)
When you compare cccam 2.3.0 and 2.2.1 side by side on HexCmp they are nothing alike.

one last question, what is the advantage of using 2.3.0 and what does it do that the previous one didn't?

oh and by the way I am as calm as a Cucumber. :)
