hi pau22
First: It´s all still wild guess, but the video of the new Dreambox 7080HD very probably is not a fake.
From the german "Dreambox-Blog" page I read about possible specs/improvements like these (I only translate and sum up):
# Broadcom BCM7435 dual core CPU (40nm / 7000 DMIPS)
this cpu would support functions like
+ Tablet/smartphone users will predictably be able to hardware transcode high resolution material in realtime. (makes additional software on extra hardware unnecessary).
+ 3D skins possible (perhaps even some games)
+ DRM features
BCM7435
Secures web browsers and Apps stores to be delivered together with premium broadcast content while protecting overall core functions and high value content
All these
can get implemented in enigma2 / nobody tells yet, if they will be.
---
# 1080p and HDMI 1.4a
+ possibility not only to playback 1080p material (like DM8000HD already can) but to upscale lower resolutions to 1080p
playback of 3D Full HD (predictably not copy protected) videos (you need HDMI 1.4a for transfering 3D video to your 3D Full HD tv set)
# Gigabit Ethernet
+ together with new faster BCM7435 cpu, the fast Gigabit Ethernet should allow better performance for streaming:
e.g. multiple high resolution recordings on network storage (NAS, etc.)
e.g. multiple high resolution streams to differnt devices
# SATA3
+ faster storage performance e.g. if you like to use SSD instead of HDD (with SATA3 high SSD speeds get supported)
# USB 3.0
+ faster performance of external storage devices (SSD/HDD/USB)
(better than eSATA on older dreamboxes)
# eMMC
+ no more "flash expanders" (Flodder, etc.) necessary, because you may possibly replace (upgrade) eMMC like you can replace/upgrade RAM in a pc
# BLE - Bluetooth Low Energy
+ new bluetooth standard, BLE (besides low power consumption) cannot only transfer data, but supports networking between devices
therefore plugins could get developed, that may e.g. recognise present devices in the room (like smartphones / tablets, etc.) and accordingly to the users own settings, may automatically activate user preferences on the dreambox7080hd (favourite channel, preferred skin, etc.)
# 4 tuners possible
comparable to dm8000 - but the difference is:
+ 1 built in
twin tuner DVB-S2
+ 2 expansion slots for a single tuner each (own choice DVB- S2/C/T)
# Enigma2 + OpenGL
+ advantage: enigma2 known to users, but faster performance e.g for HbbTV / Browser
+ Open GL allows GUIs / visualizations like on computers

Price?
Certainly not low end, because of 7080HD´s hardware (it´s a kind of new 8000HD)
Sales start?
Hopefully this year ...
Size?
Predictably between DM800se and DM7020HD

What it is not: Goliath

In my opinion 7080HD is just a necessary step in between, to keep customers satisfied and to offer a new device with newer hardware.
I think it´s a very interesting box, as long as it doesn´t cost a fortune
