carnt conect to dcc with dm7020

hi all
at my brother in laws trying to sort out his dream box, well i had it at mine and fitted a hd in it at home , ok well cant conect it to this bt hub so sugested updating it with a lap top.

i have conected the dream box with the lap top using dream box controle using a cross over cable
settings
ip 192.168.0.5
netmast 255.0.0.0
lan
nameserver 192.168.254
gateway 192.168.254

both dhcp & enabled network unticked
dream box wont conect , says tellnet conect then tellnet disconect.

ok when i had it , i had a image in the flash and one on the hard drive but when i put it on it boots up into a image ? all i know that it was in my house .

ok well want to try to sort this out to get him going then wew can set a motor on it but first thing is first.
what is my best plan of action to sort it out as i have only got till tuesday then going back home

had no problem conecting to my dream box with the lap top

any help would be great

Do you have a firewall or antivirus enabled.
Or make this by
nameserver 192.168.1
gateway 192.168.1

ok for reference this is how i got it going , it set up on bt home hub so set dcc as a hub, ticked dcch on the dreambox and conected it the a cat 6 cable, done a search and it found dm7020 with a strange number so acepted it and it conected :thum:
