please need help

Bootmanager: not found.
Telnet Disconnected
Telnet login incorrect!

this problem I faced when i tried to work with the DCC program
how can i solve this?

Hello mate

Bootmanger not found is normal on a 500 but you don't say which Dreambox you have.

Telnet is disconnecting because your using the wrong password. Use the correct password shut down DCC then restart and it should log you in.

Iam using DM500-s i tried to put "dreambox","clear" as password but still Telnet not loging

Do you get the message that FTP is connected?

It should be like this

Telnet Connected
FTP Connected
Model DM500 detected.

Bootmanager: not found.

If it says FTP is connected then the password is correct and your Telnet problem must be firewall blocking port 23 but this is a strange thing to happen on a local network.

are you using default username and password

username=root
password=dreambox

yah... i tested and also tested the username=root
without password

"error 10057 in function send socket is not connected"i recieved this massage before i close the firewall

Can you FTP to the image with no problem?

The FTP and Telnet password obviously are the same so it does not make sense that FTP is connected and not telnet.

Still wondering if a firewall is blocking post 23 and the Telnet login incorrect! Is the only way it can report it.

Turn off all firewalls and try to connect again. I'm probably wrong but is so strange the problem you have it is worth a go.

I solve this problem I checked the password and I removed the passowrd line through TUXCOMMANDER
succefully login the DM
