Boot from USB

Dear all,
i will try very simple:
-i used USB on my UNO- continoulsy plugged in to UNO. Storing picins, backups..etc.

-NOW- i wanted the same way in DUO (also the 174 universe image need it) BUT IF I HOLD THE USB in DUO- it want to BOOT up from USB every each time when i reboot from menu or from switch. The problem is that the DUO WONT boot up becouse USB doesnt contain any image. only the picons, and universum ..

-YES- i formatted the 4gb usb with blue panel
-YES- it mounted to UNIVESUM.

Now every time when i switching n the DUO on back panel.i need to pull out the USB and after switching on 3 second must insert.

I doing something wrong, beocuse i didnt read about this problem nowhere..

HOW to HOLD the USB in DUO but no boot from there if i dont want to. it will NOT BOOT UP NEVER if its inside without the image on USB.

ANY help for me stupid...?:mecry::mecry::mecry:

try formatting it on your pc,then reformatting it on the duo.Dont foeget to mount it.If it doesent work then the usb stick may not be compatible with the duo....

Thanks pal, very much, but you didnt understood my problem..?
-the usb IS working- i did the reflash with it, after i format the usb on pc.. and after that on blue panel.
-It works- its compatible, becouse if its INSIDE plugged- it will be boot from USB-- i i DONT want ! i just want to use it for picons.
every time switching on on mainswitch- READING the USB from start.. but cant boot becouse no img on USB..

i change the USB stick and now its booting as it need to be!
