Guys we know what is changed in this new version except of the new drivers? i mean ok we are glad that we have image updates but i and i beleive many people install a ton of things in the receiver and if from now on every week we have a new version only in full installation format, we will end up constantly updating.

Does anyone know what else is changed or how can we easy upgrade from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2?

thx

What image version are you on mate ?

You need to match the driver to the image.By the look of it you used the wrong ones.

Use the mbox-dvb-modules-bm750-2.6.18-7.3-4.4.3-20101221.tar.gz

Yeah this is the file you should of used mbox-dvb-modules-bm750-2.6.18-7.3-4.4.3-20101221.tar.gz

Not the vuplus-dvb-modules_2.6.18-7.3-r19-20101221_bm750 you used.

you cant just overwrite old drivers in 1.4.1 cause it won't work as stated on BH forum
@achtoug telnet cat /proc/version and find yours version in any image you like

They way to check what drivers you have is login to your box via telnet

Then type cat /proc/version

The output will show either 4.1.1 or 4.4.3, use the driver that matches the output.

tar.gz is archive same as rar or zip...so unpack the archive on desktop and ftp files in /lib/modules/2.6.18-7.3/extra
but i recommend to install fresh new image (1.4.2) because instalation of drivers won't work on 1.4.1

Best image ever tested in my VU+ Duo.. soo stable and fast..
I installed BlackHole_VUDUO_142B_USB and then E2_CCcam_2.2.1_DE.tgz and then at last NabiloAddons_bh.tgz.
Now i have everything i need so far.
But as you all know.. when everything runs smooth we want to explore more.. :)
Meoboot say do not install older images etc...
Wich images can i try in multiboot with this one? I am not so good with this kernel numbers etc.. :)
