I seem unable to configure the USB tuner for terrestrial channels on this latest BH release. Is it me or are others finding same?

No its not me; but is is remarkable that it appears I'm the only one that the issues occupies.

The SMSUSB devices like WinTV-ministick are reported by Blackhole images 1.7.5 and 1.7.6 as DVB-S devices and thus prevent configuration.

The solution is to downgrade the drivers to 1.7.2 with

ipkg install --force-downgrade <path><filename> there are three files.

No. the above doesn't work properly either. Other issues reading the file epg.dat from the hard drive surfaced later, preventing any programme display other than now/next.

The only working solution I've found is to go back completely to BH 1.7.3
