BH 1.4.4 on DM8000

Hi guys..

I have a VU and a DM8000 and i really like the BH144 in there.. i really wanna try to put a backup of my VU to the DM8000... but i wanna know which are the folders that have the drivers and gennerally what i need to replace for this to be succesfull.

I am thinking this way to do this

1. I install a working backup of my VU to DM8000 from the WebInterface (with the well known way of starting the DM with the powerbutton pressed) and when the restore is finished then refresh the page and install the 78H boot loader.
2. When the box boot i suppose enigma will crash but i will try with ftp to change the kernel drivers.

Maybe is better for me to extract the backup with the nfidump and change the drivers in the extracted result and after i remake the files to nfi? (i dont know how btw to do that)

If someone can help me i will be thankfull.

Mate don't flash a VU image to the flash of the 8000 your asking for trouble.

You could use the VU backup in barry allen or meoboot on the 8000 but you'll still have trouble with various expect of the image front screen for one.

Best bet mate is use the openblackhole image on the 8000 and configure that.

lol .. another question and if this is answered i dont need BH 1.4.4

As i had read now Openblackhole doesnt have correct bluepanel like BH or DE has.. so question is if there is a way to put the panel in there?

I have the panel in my VU but i dont know where is the panel to copy it to the DM

Yes mate

Use the GP3 plugin, this will give you a blue panel.

I installed the NDE in the box then i installed tunisiasat addon manager v3.. and then i installed the gp3 plugin from there succsesfully and all working fine.. except one thing which i cannot found.

How in NDE i install a DVB-T? i mean i dont see like the blackhole panel in VU a section to install dvb-t stick.

P.S. I really miss BH image in DM8000.. honestly its far the most complete out of the box image that exist (except the cams but this is ok)
