bbc hd channels

Got the 6900 hd non super and rescanning 28.2 doesent find the bbc hd channels.Anyone know how to add these channels manually

Does that box do DVB-S2 ? They changed over to that last week. my 5402 picked them up after rescanning

Delete the dead transponders then select blind scan 10700 to 10950 all fta & it will return.

Theres no blind scan on the 6900 hd combo

Then you can add the new data,

Satellite: Astra 2D tp.50
Frequency: 10,847MHz (vertical polarity)
Modulation: DVB-S2, QPSK
Symbol Rate: 23000
FEC: 8/9

Menu****Advanced search****Transponder****Press the Green button to add data as above**** to move the signal bars change the pilot then scan the transponder exit & save.

They are working now,...if you don't have any signal quality then obviously your dish isn't pointing at the satellite properly is it,...

Remember to change 'Pilot' to OFF

Below is a link to a snapshot of the settings that worked on my HD 6900 combo. Until you change 'Pilot' to off the Level and Quality bars will be blank if all other settings are correct. If the settings are correct, Pilot is ON and you are still getting red Level and low quality then the dish is poorly aligned.
