Adding additional Sat on tuner conf.

Hi everybody,
I wonder which is the easiest way to add an extra sat on tuner configuration on VU Duo, image BH 1.63.
I am using advanced tuner conf with Disq 1.1 and a 8 to 1
uncommited switch. At the moment I am using 7 ports of the switch and I want to add another sat psn for the 8th port of the switch.

I use Multifocus dish with 8x LNB and same Diseqc 1.1 protocol.
The procedure is exactly the same as You did for first 7 ports just 3 lines are different: select new SATTELITE, define it for LNB nr. 8 and set Diseqc uncommited switch to nr. 8. Rest of parameters/settings are same for all 8 sattelites.

Thank you for your answer. That what I was trying to do, but only the 7 programmed sats were showing. No other sat. Finally I had to flash a new image and reprogrammed all 8 sats again. Also I was trying to make the changes via Dreamset program and then send the changes to the VU Duo, without any success. Again many thanks for your answer.

Further more, I noticed that with the new BH 1.6.3 which I am using now, it is possible to add more sats on your tuner conf,
but not with the BH 1.6.2 which I was using when I wrote the
thread. Also on my DB 800 on which I have exactly the same tuner conf. I cannot add another sat. I am using the BH 1.3 image.
It seems that with the newer images it is possible tov add more sats on the already present tuner sats conf.

if you add the tspanel plugin you can add more satelllites system tools/satellite manager press yellow to download then tick the sats you want blue to save and restart enigma and they should be in your tuner

hi, could you please list the setting if I want to use 6 LNBs with my VU+ Uno (VTi 3.2), diseqc switch Optibox 10/1, if I use simple setting with only 4 LNB all is working perfect, but I cannot find the correct way how to setup in advanced mode using 6 LNBs. if this has been already discussed, could you please link me to the right place? Until now I have not found this information.

Check Your satellites.xml file, if it contains the complete sat database, otherwise You have to add new satallites using TS panel or use web page "satellites-xml.eu" to generate the file and FTP it to the box.

@bull12:
For 5-16 LNB on Multifocus dish You have to use extended protocol diseqc 1.1 with uncommitted commands. I use 8xLNB with VU+ DUO and same switch 10/1.
