If you have 0/12 output on your reciever, you can connect 2 x 4 input diseq switch or to get 8 LNB or 2 x 8 diseqC to get 16 LNB input.

For the first DiseqC you select 0 volt, and select 12 volt for the 2nd diseqC.

Hello sarfraaz184,

Make sure that you have selected 1.1 for Diseqc and that the LNB Lo is set correctly if not universal ( LO L 0975 - LO H 10600).

If you are using C band make sure that LO is set to 5750 and 5150(for LNBF)
and video is setto inv.

Hello all,

I am a newbie and i have probably a silly question:
are all the universal lnb's have their lo at 9750 and 10600?

I am having a hard time trying to setup a dm500 with an 8 port switch and i can not figure out the problem. It just keeps changing from non-standard user.... to rotor configuration.

Any ideas?

i have the same problem.

I used to have an dish with 4 lnb's connected to and 4.1 diseqc switch and it worked perfect. Now I installed a second dish with also 4 lnb's , but i replaced the 4.1 with an 8.1 switch. But i dont know where to start since it cant be done with simple settings on the dreambox.

Is there any info available for using 8 lnb's with an 8.1 switch on a dreambox 800 HD ?

Any help or perhaps a link would be great !!
