I have two dreamboxes and I'd like to use the Dm7020s in the livingroom and the other (Dm500s) to the bedroom.
Will the Dark Motor operate properly. Meaning if on the livingroom I watch local card then I switch off
the DM and go to the bedroom switch on the second DM will the sat dish (move) so I can watch hotbird?
Thanx in advance.

should work but you will get sometimes problems. for example you turn off the 7020 while standing on 19,2. next you turn on the 500 and move from 19,2 to 13. everything is fine. now you turn off the 500 and switched on the 7020. after this you have the problem that the 7020 "thinks" the motor still stands on 19,2. the box now will not move to the correct satpasitions. you can readjust it by let the box move the dish to 0. so you had to remember everytime to turn off both boxes on the same satelliteposition.

if your just using the lnb out from the 7020 it wont move the 500,it will just be able to be on the same sat as the 7020,im not sure about an lnb with a twin f connector running a seperate cable from the lnb to both boxes

NOT "MOVE"

I just set it up but it doesn't work. What about IF to the cable who pass from the Dark Motor before connect to the DB 7020 add a splitter? (so I can drive second cable to the DB 500). Do you think this idea would work?

no you will loose the diseqc signal by splitting it they have to be on the same sat and only the one receiver can move it,i would let the 7020 do the moving of the dish not the 500.

So only 1 DM

Thanx a lot for your reply.
So I'll use only DM7020 for "moving" sat as there is no other solution.

yes mate thats the best option and put on an lnb with a twin output and run another cable from it to the 500,it will be on the same sat though and at least its not drawing any more power from the 7020 that way.
