Hi All
I have a technomate 1500 ci+ for 2 years now, couldn't fault it or the support on this forum.
Recently I bought a diablo 2.3 cam from skywise, I don't have a cas 3 but a good friend close by does (jackbauer take a bow), anyway he programmed it with the latest downloads underworld 147 etc, my cam is working perfectly on his 6900hd reciever, but is not brilliant on my 1500, I know its not the cam because I swopped with Jack and his cam is the same in my 1500,
I get audio and no video on some channels, video and no audio on some channels, it freezes if I channel hop or sat hop a lot, it freezes if I try to move channels into some sort of order ( which is opening lots of channels one after the other as well).
It's not all bad when I know what channels open it works fine for about 6-10 channel changes
then I have to reboot, I sometime get away with going to a fta channel for a while without rebooting.
Does anyone else with a 1500ci+ have these problems and if so how do you sort it,
could it be a bit like itunes where a pc doesn't like more than 1 ipod, I'm thinking the cas3 programmer doesn't like more than 1 diablo cam, or is it an issue with the 1500 perhaps it's feeling it's age (like me)
