Where does KingOfSat get its information from? Do they just assume? If this is the case, can this source be trusted? No information source can just invent?

What do you mean where do they get information from. They have stbs I imagine. They can see that those channels aren't transmitting atm and they just listed that they left which is correct information for now.

Rocknroll, they said the same last time, when it was more than likely they just hadn't paid for transponder usage, which I reckon is probably what has happened again. No, I'm saying, they need to get the story right. Not saying they are no longer broadcasting in Europe, if they aren't uplinking. If it was a fire etc, (whatever the reason is) why can't they go directly to the source? This is what I meant :) Anything else is Scare-mongering. They may not be uplinking after all, but there is no proof they have left the hotbird satellite, which is what KingOfSat reports :)

Kingofsat doesn't report stuff like uplink problems, fire etc. Don't know where that information came from, I imagine some subscriber got a reply from themex in the mailbox.
They just deal with facts (it is there, it is not there), I agree they shouldn't write "it has left" for a channel that is just simply changing SR or something like that, or in this case temporarily having problems as far as we know.
But I guess that it is more of semantics issue. We should know better then to take what kingofsat writes literally.

A strange package, can sometimes fade down to a 50% signal and other times be around 80% with a 1 meter dish in Northern Europe? It's really a toss of a coin if I'll be able to receive it or not each day?

Wanted to edit to the above, not a 1 meter, but a 1.8 meter :) Could the beam be that far off at times it can drop down to a 50% signal? (which is too weak to lock)

Legal rights for subscribers?

Do us (=subscribers) have possibility to leave shared fraud alert to authories from this company? I think this covers soon all the characteristics of "official fraud" ,if nothing improvements happen soon. Even just a tiny information on website would improve our feelings.. i believe...

I believe they think they are safe because who wants to make a fuss over a porn channel even if it costs good money to subscribe to it. I've only had my card 3 month. They are treating us like a set of sad cun*s as they did when Ultra Blue went off. Theme X is crap both in the quility of picture, repeats and content not a patch on Sex View. I will not buy another card long. Live the file guys.

For all those problems i have decided to NOT renew my ThemeX card when it'll be expired.
Can anyone suggest another adult channel provider?

Patience Perhaps?

I have never been a fan of the way ThemeX is/was run, as indicated by my other posts. Neither am I an optimst, but just going on past experience I think it may be too early to be sure they are down for good.

OK on the Turbosat International site's post, but here is one from viewtech
----------------------
Important - Subscriber Information

ThemeX is experiencing a technical problem as of 04.07.10 that has affected its transmission. The broadcaster is busy working on this problem and we expect viewing to resume soon.

In the absence of any form of press release from theme x we are now fearing the worst and in our opinion it seems unlikely that the broadcaster will return. We are in negotiation with rival broadcasters and will be able to offer alternative options next week to theme x viewers. Our website will be updated when we have further info on monday and existing customers will be mailed next week with upgrade info

Please note that it is still possible that theme x may return, be rebranded or taken over and we therefore recommend that viewers remain patient until next week..........

We will update this page when we have further developments!
-----------

So bearing in mind ThemeX has gone down for days on other occasions, and the above post I will give it a week or so before contemplating sending off my card to another supplier.

I do not hold out much hope, but they have come back before, and as stated above there is a chance that someone else may take them over even if they have run out on us.

So I will try to be patient for a little while longer, just in case.
Cheers

Agreed. Marlbrook's post above is by far the best way of facing a really sad situation as this one, which is taking place right now, for all of us Theme-x subscribers. Don't forget: Turbosat or anyone else retailer, are just sellers. And their offer is just smelling an attempt of secure some profits. Nothing more, nothing less.

Let's wait some more days before we proceed to new purchases. Patience, had never been bad for anybody...

ThemeX left down Turbosat, and moved to other distributors hoping to increase their margins. They failed and bankrupted.

So, definitely they were alive before because Turbosat was their main reseller and they were able to do the numbers... this is now the case of RedHot... so ThemeX RIP, welcome RH. The exchange offer is definitely a must go, as ThemeX is gone because they were too much gready.
