I personally think that many Abra users are being very ungratefull at this moment.
I purchased my abracard along with my Echolink 3020 approx 2years ago(to replace my humax 5400). I have had truely amazing service from both. The STB is still serving me well thanks to many working behind the scenes.
The guys who can receive the middle eastern beam (which I cannot) have certainly had the better deal because they have been able to receive full packages. Us guys in northern europe were left with many porn channels and a few premium channels.
My only critisism of the Moresat team is that I always believed that they had the cash to pay for the info in order that Nova on hotbird should have been on the Abra card in the very early days similar to the Gamma card.
However when Nova was added to the emulator on the clones the abra card did allow the viewing of extra channels so it WAS still working only a few weeks ago.
During the 20 years that I have been in this hobby I have spent much cash on cards,cam and STB's and I must say that the abra has served me as well as any of the others.
I made a decision a while back that I will not purchase anymore SAt related equipment and that was also approx 2 years ago in fact my echo/abra combination was the last purchase.
