I am near Málaga waiting to hear. I got Espn on 15 w with a 1 m dish but no uk stuff. Sadly tried with a 1.2 m but not even espn

Oh thats not good news. If you got ESPN on a 1m , why not on 1,2m ?
I wonder how close you are to getting a signal. Worth playing with low loss cable and a high gain lnb?

Makes no sort of sense to me you say you got ESPN on a 1M dish but cant on a 1.2M Dish ??
others from Spain say they have signal for BBC's but far south may well be too far for the beam i guess .

Many thanks for your thoughful replied. The 1 metre dish had a scale in degrees to get the elevations 46 degrees the 1.2 m hasn't got this I tried to copy the elevation of the 1 m but to no avail . Is the geometry of all off set dishes similar?

I don’t think they are standard as such but they seem to be in a similar range. There are various methods documented on how to calculate it but maybe it easier just to guess and the tweak the dish once you have a signal. Clearly most people would do this anyway as there are manufacturing tolerances that could affect it, and of course how well your mount is set up. 23 degrees would be a good start point if you were using the trial and error approach (our Channel Master 2.4M is specified at 22.6, and some old 1.2M I have been playing with appear similar).

it gives 13.5db 97% Signal [ Ireland NW ]
Here is Screenshots that i just took , such a very simple signal to lock i get as high as 17db on my 2 meter Prime Focus Dish

understand that Perfectly my friend ,
since Beam "for Example" Vivacom on 13E is far beyond my reach .
Just thought i'd post some screenshots that may give a little hope for peeps that can just about catch the beam ,
it is much more focused on UK/Ire there can be no doubt at all .

hello everybody, iam in santander,north of spain. My signal is 60% in bbc channels on telstar 15w
I have a viark 4k, and always say no signal, but the signal is 60% Quality.
The viark, has the biss key ok, but NO SIGNAL, Can anybody tell me anything to see that channels?

Thank you so much. I think I have to change the receiver since it doesn't allow me to change the pids. I have managed to see the Esc1 and 2 channels with an Apbox s2 with the modified firewall.

I have to admit, it's a bit tricky! I have managed to watch these channels in an enigma 2 receiver (GB Trio 4k), following the tips in this topic. However, as I said before, not all channels. I have edited the lamedb file, coping the parameters line (p.) of each channel both from EnoSat's info above, and from the Ciefp settings (not the latest, because he already removed the 27.5W entry), and yes, the most part is working.

I also tried with a very simple Amiko 8150 that I had in my attic, but without success. I scanned all the channels, and the biss key is there, but no way to make it work. Although in this box there is a specific menu entry called "Biss B BC", which I believe is what is causing the problem. I will try with older some other older receiver in the weekend if I have time.

Like your's Apebox, this receiver does not allow me to edit the pids. However, as our dear Barney115 has stated, you only need to edit pids parameters in Enigma2 devices.

Tengo un viark 4k y siempre digo que no hay señal, pero la señal tiene un 60% de calidad.
El viark, tiene la llave biss ok, pero NO HAY SEÑAL, ¿Alguien puede decirme algo para ver esos canales?
Sólo hablo un poco de inglés, lo siento.

Hi, friend. I suggest you check your antenna orientation carefully. I have had to do it and with 85 cm. signal level at the receiver of 98% and at the meter above 65 dB. Sorry for the translation. I am in the center of Asturias.

I have used the APbox channel editor which almost surprisingly works for Edision Picco S2. Even so, I have modified all the pid and supplier parameters and I can't get it. I need a light!!!
