Zattoo launches new user interface

Zattoo says it has completely reworked its Live TV Player, making it easier to register and more user friendly.
The streaming live TV service portal now shows all available channels on its home page, as well as an icon for all devices on which the channels can be accessed.
On the main live TV screen, navigation has improved with direct access to radio stations, the possibility to extend the channel list, more information on current programmes and previews, easy access to premium content and one-button Teletext.
Zattoo is available on Windows and Linux PCs, Macs, iPhones, Windows phones and iPads, with Android coming soon.
Nick Brambring, COO of Zattoo, in a statement: “Our users want to watch online already the way they are used to. So we felt we could not make any radical changes, but a lot of small improvements. Zattoo now looks better and friendlier now. In 2012, we will continue full steam ahead. Our user recommendations and social features are due to give a more personal and better Zattoo experience – and as always, on a variety of devices.”
Zattooo claims currently 9 million registered users. The service is live in six countries, including Germany, Switzerland, the UK and Spain.
