Youtube plugin on dm800

This new plugin can be found on new dm800 images, like gemini 3.80 Newnigma 2.2 and maybe others.
Has somebody manage to work with it and if yes can he explain how to configure correctly Vlc server?
A "How to for dummies" about it will be very apreciated

Just some thing i found lads!

1) install vlc on your pc and make sure you tick the box activex plugin and mozilla plugin

2) now in windows use the run command and type "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.***" --intf wxwin --extraintf=http < make sure you include the " before the c

3) setup up vlc server on dreambox with pc ip address and set port to 08080.

4) goto youtube plugin select a vid and it should play

What can people do to prevent submission of copyrighted materials on youtube? I know one answer is obvious... don't upload copyrighted materials on youtube! Right now, when we flag a video because it is copyright infringed, we do not have the option to flag it as that. Youtube refuses to remove a video unless a company submits a request to remove the video but there are companies that have submitted such a request but youtube do not remove most or all of their videos because there are too many videos to keep up with. What can people do to help youtube other than not submitting copyrighted materials?

Is VLC running on the computer, i.e. can you play any video format that VLC handles? AVI, MPEG, ISO etc.

Mate everytime I try to type in ''--intf wxwin --extraintf=http ''

I get traget not specified error! Im using windows 7 if this makes a difference???

It could be window7 mate at the time of this thread i was on XP.

Not tied it on window 7. No time this weekend but ill have a go at some point.
