Hi,

A new broadband internet service <HSPA+> with upto 21megabit/sec connecting speed using a USB dongle has been recently introduced where I live.

I was wondering if any one has used it on vu+duo as an alternative to adsl service. any detailes on how this works would be highly appreciated.

TIA

If it is USN dongle only then to use it you'll need a 3g router. You will plug the usb dongle into the router to provide a internet connect and then the router would be hard wired to the VU like a normal router.

You can not use a internet 3g dongle directly in the VU at this moment in time as there are no drivers.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Would it be possible to pluge in the USB dongel in one of the PC usb ports and connect the Vu+Duo receiver ethernet port to the PC ethernet port via an ethernet cable. This way the receiver can have access to the internet service via the pc.

Please opine

Thanks
