I find this thread interesting.

First it can help to understand who you are? You ssems to be a master on this. You been posting dvb packages for everyone. Thanks. I even think the dvbream package I use came from you.

But you are interested in WMC! This is strange to me.

WMC is been face out by Microsoft, In fact they even remove everything from W10.

I stopped using it some time ago, I used it for Local Over the Air Channels. Here in America windows offered a nice EPG guide for OTA channels. We could even get Mayor Satellite Provider guides. But they are canceling that out.

Once I even installed and tested dvbdream as server using dvblogic to send the Processed Video back to WMC. But the free license run out and I stopped using it.

Now I am no expert on WMC but in general WMC can scan you satellites using you installed PCSAT drivers. The problem is that is like a private windows thing where you have no controlled over the process, just a Wait while we Install your Channels thing.

Then WMC do not provide any support to decrypt channels, So you are stock we only free TV channels!!

Now as a nice looking GUI I agree. But how do you plan to used it?

By the way I hate W10 it does not allow free control of the OS. I could help with WIN7 if it prove to be interesting.

By the way I like Media Portal since it has a way to have Conditional Access working. But powervu emu 2.3 does not play on it. I try to find a fix but could not have luck convincing the authors of the CSA Module to work in a solution nor had luck convincing Anubis_Ir in producing a patch.

I will like to see this going if it can. Willing to help if I can. Good luck.

I just look at you video. It seems I misundertood. You in fact are scanning satellites and viewing content.

Can you explain then the issue with the BDA driver.

Did you prepare a new BDA driver that is capable of doing the Crypto-Decoding? I guess I am lost.

------------------------------------------------
Edited. Waooooo I see

That satellite is a nice FREE FTA channel. I witch we have something like that in America. there are hundreds of free channels there.

Nilesat 102/201 & Eutelsat 7 West A at 7.0°W

for BDA drivers for WMC it's working
with all type of DVB-S card
but for my card (sky star 2 express HD)
working normal but not full support
by WMC because WMC identify it as
standard BDA DVB-S2
and working fine

for encrypted channel you must have
DVB-S with CI internal by that i
t will see encrypted channel open normal with WMC

this is old clip for WMC in windows 7 with

Techno Trend TT-budget S2-3200 + CI HDTV
