linux boxes are full of functions and capabilities like Card Sharing and the built-in LAN connections and other fascinating - yet a bit complicated - features.
if u want my advice, buy DM 500+ and not DM500
u can find original 500+ in stores but u cant find original 500 anywhere + 500+ has bigger memory
i say that because Gemini images KILL cloned DM 500.
if u are not intending 2 use Gemini images, so i definitely recommend the cheaper DM 500
sorry, i dont know anything about KBox but it seems 2 be a DM500 clone

very good support, most images have a download panel, so you can get emu's plugings keys etc, capable of CS, it will read most cards inserted into the card slot.
a great little unit. depending where you are based i would go for an eagle linux from a satellite shop, they are the same as a dm500 with just a different case rather than getting a dm500 from eaby, you are going to get your 12 months waranty from a satellite shop not like ebay.

I plan to purchase my unit locally here in north america from a reputable dealer (will not sell clones) with 25 years of being in the biz .
most boxes around here are vs,cs,cw etc so I have little or no support on a linux box but I may venture in that direction , re the other features do they have the capability of iks ?
