which is better?Mesh or normal?

Hi guys,im looking to buy a 1.2m dish...what would u reccommend me?i hear mesh is a lot better,is that true..im after good signals on turksat,hellasat and eutelsat16e..

a solid dish is better m8 in my opinion, and go for a 1.2 triax, they are very cheap and very good dish, and solid too,

so triax will be good enough for arabsat?
and will it be good enough for 12.5w,16e and 39e using motor?because on my 90cm dish im currently on 16e,and if i want to go to 39e,i use my motor,and when i get there,i have to go outside and slightly pull my dish down...vice versa if i want to go back to 16e...

Depends upon Your location what size of dish you need.

And if You have to pull you dish down..well it only means system is not correctly in arc.

Hi

Type of dish to go for is really dependent on location, for example if you live near the sea dont put up a steel dish unless it is galvanized, if money is no object go for channel master 1.2, they have fantastic gain and can pull in weak signals. they have a excellent quality mount as well, but triax is good also if you just want a cheaper dish.

Dont know about arabsat as i dont know where you are, best to checkout the footprint map of the satellite.

Your setup needs realignment if you are having to move the dish physically for 39e.

Mesh looses some signal through the holes. (not reflected). Triax Hirschmann dishes, last number is dish size in cm.

Don,t forget the wind,your 90cm may be OK if aliened OK with a good LNB, 39e should be no problem,

i live near leeds area..and i have a good signal as long as i manually move my dish..and i know its not alligned properly..so if i buy triax 1.2m dish,i shud have strong signal for 12.5,16e,and 39e?
