Which image Dgs Based/E2 is the best ?

Hi,
for me the best image is the SIF Extreme Image.DGS firmware Images are slower and are not so good supported from DGS.

for me PGI 0.9
you must know that all dgs images has much better picture quality than E2 images
and this image is working great with mgcamd and have a lot of enhancements built into its core

For me Sifteam EE Enigma 2 in flash. Its "setup" utilities are outstanding for format, mounting etc etc, especially if you are going to use E2 on USB as well. I run the PKT image on USB which is based on the Nightly Build (Tideglo).

If I use DGS image I use Sifteam DGS. The issue I have with DGS is CrossEPG which is now no longer being developed by Skaman and the E2 version is way ahead ! CrossEPG on DGS does exist but is less stable and slower. This is a big deal to me because CrossEPG is essential to allow wives to use the box!

AAF VM V2 Flash

Hi i have tried many images and AAF VM V2 Flash is best i have seen for my use. It`s easy to install and configure, the subtitels are working on Nordic channels. The only thing not working is tele text. I use mgcam135 and oscam for cccam clint, but mgcam are more stable. It can run stabel for weeks and the recording are ok whith subtitels also.

The version I see on the site is PGI 0.7.3 . It says

New: Startup/shutdown scripts backported from PGI 0.9.

What is the version ?I am confussed

I see it says

New: Exclusive PGI Option (OSD menu): VIDEO EXTRA LAYER allows the choice between simultaneous video output via HDMI + Scart or significantly better image quality PiP

Is this the better picture quality only in pip

version 0.7.3 is released recently ,but it's based on the old dgs firmware (12413) with the blue interface

while the 0.9 is based on a more recent dgs firmware (13219) ,so 0.9 is newer
the better picture quality is in everything , sd channels ,hd channels and pip

if you had an sharp tuner dont take an e2 image. you can have many problems

This is not the case. i have twin sharp tuners and both work great on latest e2 images.... it may depend on box rev i have rev3 box and have no problems with Latest enigma2 images.
Latest PKT image is the best for normal user as its the easiest to use
Latest AAF image have DGS hd picure quality and is realy stable also..

yes , i installed the latest Crossepg on this image and it worked fine, just i had problems with the image crashing , and sometimes gets stuck on booting, also i couldnt get it to boot from HDD ( something needs changed in the multiboot file )

The Pic quality did seem better to me at first, but the instabillity side of things turned me off it.

Just wait another day or 2, you will see a nice new DGS based image , and its very fast and stable with oscam.
