Which HDD do you recommend for DM800HD se to be used internally? Are there any official recommendations of models to use? Currently I have ATA-WDC WD3200BEVT installed which is a 2,5" Western Digital 320 GB.

I experience glitches (video freezes after ~20 minutes) when I play recorded HD material (have not tested SD material since I mostly watch HD TV).

First I thought it was heat related problem since the box was in a small space so I brought the box out of the small space - it now sits next to the TV in open air.

glitch of HD chs r neither related to hdd nor to image problem , this could be due to server or signal or ur tuner , WD HDD is a good one , personally i use Segate 250GB & i also have somtimes glitch on sky HD chs due to server cccam glitch & some low signal from my dish sat , but it is ok i can live with it :)

How can you be sure the original source for the recording was glitch free ?

No problems with the channels I watch as they are really glitchfree. I experience same problems with FTA HD channels. When I watch the show it is good but when I play back the content video breaks up after a while and pictures freezes and then continues. See attached screenshots from BBC's HD channel from the Olympics (FTA).

Since the breaksup happens at the same place when I play back the content I assume this is a record related issue rather than play back issue. As far as I know the WD is a 5400 rpm hdd.. would it help use a faster drive? Or maybe external drive which I haven't tested but I'd prefer use internal one as the DM has room for one.
