Where can I find a working key updater?

Do I need to use a special updater for the IPBox 9000 or will any work (ex. for Dreambox)?

And if yes where do I find it?

In the WebInterface it states only "use your favorite soft updater". What is the best?

checking on internet i've found this nice script made by mintaj

i can't test it cause i've not your box with that structure..so you should test it for us:D

those are the info....about key updater...

script update keys - IpBoX9oooHD/CubeRevo by mintaj
================================================== =

Script use keys server (HackSat)
download file:
* softcam.cfg
* SoftCam.Key
* AutoRoll.Key
* tps.au

INSTALL:
========
copy the files:
-> var/www/cgi-bin -> key-update > chmod 775
use Webif:
-> assign color button
use pilot (red, green,yellow, button)

then the same person posted these other two files...


check them...

Thx! Works here as well.

But is there a way that the update does not need manual steps like color button press/restart cam? I mean fully automatic update?

Working Key

Just came across this post and found it a lot more useful than just a thank you. Only have my Cuberevo mini 24 hours and despite a Dreambox background finding it a wee bit difficult. However watching Thor in clear and looking forward to new adventures.

I put the file like you said;copy the files:
-> var/www/cgi-bin -> key-update > chmod 775
I don't know what i must do after this.

I log in to the box with my browser no port 9000. I see the page off nlb ipbox9000 and then i chose dgstation webif. I can see the dgstation cuberevo web. I don't see the option menu. What i'm doing wrong??
