vu+ solo2 using it with 2 dishes

Hey Guys

Just a query, just setup my clone solo2 today, Lonrisun
the supplier said it was more reliable than other type they sell,
but does not support original images.

Running Blackhole 2.1.1 out of the box.


couple questions is I have a standard Sky dish, and a motorised dish,

Tuner A: Single 28.2E (sky dish

Tuner B: Positioner USALS (motorised dish)

Will turner B be used for any tuner A channels?


Also have a hard drive issue, I can initialize ok, then pause record
but after a reboot i need to initialize again?

all the original BH addons be safe to use?

what to i need to avoid updating?




my lnb on motor dish is down should get new one tomorrow then can mess around with it.

Tuner b will be used if you watching one and recording another channel from 28east.

When you initialize and mount the hdd then do a reboot to force enigma to save the settings.

Dont update the image online.

when it loses it says "timeshift not Possible"

Hey guys.

borrowed another HD, 320gb same as mine.

Fit initialize, test pause, works fine.

do hard reboot, get same message "timeshift not possible"

I guess it must be the box setting somewhere

got it now, i'm an idiot, I was initializing drive, then pauses tv to test.

but after searching found this tut credit to bogdanm, then worked first time.

How to Mount USB in the Black Hole Devices Manger

As follows :-

1} Press Blue button twice @STB Remote Control and select the Devices Manger, you will see this screen {1}


2} After selecting Devices Manager you see this [you can see the 2 partitions made on usb stick are not mapped]. Press the Red button {2}


4} Now you can select which devices you want to mount, just highlight the device with the up/down buttons and press the left/right buttons to choose how you want it mounted (universes, video, usb, hdd etc)
then just press the Red button to save this mount {4}

5} Now the box will ask you to reboot so it can create this mount. Once the box has rebooted, if you check in the Device Manger you see something similar to this {5}
