Vu+Solo and hard disk

Hi all

Yesterday i wanted to add an external hard disk for Vu+ Solo friend, initialization was not performed properly, because after a while it´s get blocked and finished by not recognizing hd?

it is a western digital hard disk of 1 TB usb 2.0
Vu+solo and image vti 2.2

I wonder if this is not because of the large capacity of the hard disk ?

can some one help me for a solution

Capacity should not be a problem.

Is the hard drive externally powered? Is so that should be OK if not that could cause issues.

Does a hard reboot from a powered off states solve the problem?

Yes Ferret it´s powered externally

Problem with external drive is the interface between the HDD and the VU some work better than other.

All i can say is try a different image.
