Vu Duo locks up after channel change

I have a vu duo clone which i recently had to change image on as i lost the password to the unit and had to reflash to install new server details

Now when the receiver boots when i change channel the receiver locks up, and i have to reboot

I have tried many clone safe images, same result. I have also tried scanning the sat rather than installing my boquets file, same result

I cant watch anything on it now, as as soon as i select a channel, the picture comes on the menu is locked with the boquet still on screen and a solid green light at the top left of LCD screen where which usally flashes when you use the remote.

As i say i have tried numerous clone safe images but all with the same result.... including the image i previously had installed

Any ideas?

edit: and even more strangley i can change the channel via the app on my phone or ipad! And its def not the remote itself as i have tried another 2 remotes from other boxs
