Video Player

Hi
I have put an avi file on a usb stick andconnected to my ipbox.
After I have selected the video player and found the file on the usb stick, I select it, the usb flashes but nothing appears on the screen.
Should this have played or do I need to install a codec?
I am running sif r8314

There is no need for any codecs. You could try some other file. Think it doesn't like some files, so worthy trying a few to see if it is working at all or not.
