I know it's not a vu or some other Linux box. I'm fine with that...honestly if the thing didn't restart I would be fine with it.

Some of the quirks Ive seen:

Picture starting to glitch, jump / freeze.:

Box usually needs to reboot or will reboot itself. Happens very rarely. Though I've seen it maybe 3/4 times

Box doesn't boot:

Sometimes the box just gets stuck on boot. Usually unplugging for 30 seconds resolves this.

No display when powered on:

Saw a few times, plug the power in , the box still looks off. Unplug and plug back in resolves the issue.

Box from standby loses signal/ lock

Flick to another channel or satellite. Only happened a handful of times.



Some of the issues I've seen with the box, again I'm fine with quirks and poor UI user experience. It's brilliant server, best I've used as when it works, it's been pretty much 99% reliable in terms of the channels they offer.

Load official fw and start again, you won't lose server access.

I suspect that the same key was just stored in the menu assigned to a different frequency, but obviously I could not check more than 400 keys!

do you have to delete all the keys individually or is there a way to clear the list i one go

Cheers, I have already done that before. Probably just unlucky lol. Think I've pretty much troubleshooted this to death.

I may try it again :)

viark sat you can delete all biss keys at once. on the viark drs2 you can only delete each key which takes a bit of time theres 500 or so.i did this today on my drs2 as feed key wasn't updating so i delete all keys after a firmware upgrade.

When I had strange problems with my Viark Sat 4K, I uploaded the official firmware, then factory reset, then uploaded PT firmware again and finally another factory reset.
This procedure was suggested to me here in this thread (please look at some previous post), and it perfectly worked.

Nobody here has any connection to Forever / Mars 3rd party Commercial Servers .
i suggest you contact your Reseller instead as they will have al the 'News' you seek .
Sky IT is indefinitely Suspended likely due to the very strict laws imposed in Italy some of the most strict laws in the whole planet .
As we already know FACT is being paid ridiculous amounts of money to shut down servers worldwide ,
FACT runs the worlds largest Cartel its no secret and money spent to make shutdowns is being spent like confetti ,
but this is Viark Sat topic regarding Viark boxes not so much 3rd party resellers so please try keeping on topic in future .
