hi all,
I'm new to sat tv stuff so bear with me.
I recently obtained second hand humax va-fox unit. Along came a smartcard - from what i can tell from google images it is a fun5 (viaccess) card.
I managed to setup the unit and antenna to receive some > 800 (un)scrambled programs just fine. I'm not sure what is the contents of the fun5 card so i would like to update it.
I've searched the forum and i'm not sure what to use
What files do i need and where to get them?
I believe i also need some kind of software programmer to do this. Which one? I have a USB card reader hardware.
Also i'm running Linux
