UPCOMMING FREE UPGRADE SIM 1.0 to FERRARI card!!!

My persistance to this is because I tried this and my box did not enter HTTP mode but stayed in serial mode besides of having activated the network on 192.168.1.10. But very interesting was that the network on the PC was down since the software from the original image disconnected the network on the DB800 so it remained in "SERIAL MODE".

This issue should be resolved producing new enforcer or dreamup which will overcome the broken network on the DB.

Can you tell me about upgrading my sim1,probable T3 or T4,ti sim ferrari,and if not,how must upgrade this simcard to support last kernel for dm800hd pvr clone.

Simcard T3 and T4 are not product by ferrari team and for this reason are not upgradable. you can only replace your sim with a new that support last kernel.

A friend of mine changed the sim from an other box and with telenet installed image dream elite black hole 133 and ssl69.

My conclusion is that besides "successful" upgrade of the sim1 to ferrari sim in reality nothing happened. Than the mistake was the upgrade of the image and ssl to 78. I suppose my sim was not supported by ferrari...
The bigest diasapointment was dream up - pathched version and the enforcer that did not do the job (FILE TO BIG).

File to big is only SSL69 need. DreamUP with SSL69. After start

i can change bootloader to new ferari sim card (like Secondstage SSL82F??)
my simcard is v1 in my box!

i have flashed my old dm800hd revj box with the 1.3 ferrari image and it says ferrari sim but when i go to put a ferrari image on it it says no ca ive tried putting an image on it and flashing 76bl v3 but to no avail even the ferrari image recovey 1.1 doesnt work, ive tried to go back to an old workig image of mine and still bootloops with bl70 ?

When you flashed the image did you go into the plugins menu and run the updater ?

The DM Sims tool is supposed to be able to convert the sims this image wont, never tried it but youll find it here

Just tried updating my sim1 to ferrari and after I run plugin it was still for 20min and then screen flashed lake crasy. tried to flash ferrari image and now no ca found

What is easiest way to wake box

Hello mate

Try connecting both a network and a null cable and use the patched dreamup version by forhike.

In Dreamup choose your comp port and also tick the network box. In DreamUP fill in your PC's IP in local box then in remote IP box use the same range as your PC uses but the end 2 digits should be 10

Example

Your PC IP 192.168.1.2

Box IP will be 192.168.1.10 as the 800 will default to this IP.

Now click connect on DreamUP and power on the 800 it will load the flash loader and show the box is in HTTP mode. The 800 screen should display a IP if this is done correctly.

Now start your browser and enter the IP in to it like in the example 192.168.1.10.

You should then see the normal webrowser flashing page, proceed to flash the image of your choice via browser as you normally would.

Ok thanks but do you think the process of making the ferrari sim went wrong? and can I flash the latest ferrari image after the sim is ferrari because that was what I did.
I tried to flash this one "OpenPLi-ssl88f-2.1-beta-dm800-20130119-elhawary.nfi"
how long should it take after you press "free sim1 --> to ferrari card" did not now if I got the "done screen" because I was looking for an answer if it should take that long,

EDIT: I am also behind a router. I do not know if it will work with 192.168.1.10 the router is giving the box another IP like 192.168.0.106

There are some sims that will not upgrade but the upgrade image, only other way is ds-sims

You use a IP within your router range the IP's i used are just a example, you only give your box a IP in the remote box drop down on dreamup/flashup

Ok I have understood that my SIM was not compatible SIM 1 (t5) I think. Then the simcard should be ok than ?
Than I just have to take a image compatible with sim1 right?
