UPC Polska has modernised 75% of its network and 1.3 million households are now within reach of its DOCSIS 3.0 –based internet service, which offers access at up to 120 Mbps.
Furthermore, half of its new subscribers now opt for internet access at speeds of 25 Mbps or higher.
The cable operator included these statistics in a release reviewing Liberty Global’s Q2 results, focusing on Poland.
These showed that UPC Polska ended the quarter with 437,800 digital and 573,500 analogue TV subscribers, as well as 543,000 and 245,100 receiving its internet and telephony services respectively.
Its total subscriber total stood at 1,089,200, or 7,000 less than the previous quarter, a reduction UPC Polska puts down to “natural client fluctuations in a highly competitive market.”
