Unitymedia adds more channels

Unitymedia has added five more channels to its offer, with a further channel set to join its line-up in September.
Following China’s CCTV 9, introduced in June, it will from today (July 9) include MTV Brand New, QVC HD, QVC Beauty & Style and SonLife, with SonLife joining in two months time.
Liberty Global-owned Unitymedia operates in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse and already offers its customers over 200 TV channels.
The combined Unitymedia KabelBW group had a total of 7.1 million subscribers as of the end of Q1.
Of these, 6.7 million received TV (2.2 million digital), 2.3 million internet and 2.3 million telephony services from the company.
