TVE Renews Their Broadcasts Via Satellite To Africa And Asia-Oceania During The Next 2 Years
RTVE has been renewed for two years, with possibility of extending it to four platforms via satellite to Africa and Asia-Oceania. Viewers of these continents may continue to enjoy the African international channel, Radio 1 and Radio Exterior and channel international Asia and Radio Exterior, respectively.

These renovations, which promotes the public broadcaster, bring soon changes the parameters of reception of the users. These changes are inevitable and do be that viewers or listeners who are in these areas and currently receive signals of RTVE be changed these parameters in their receivers to be able to continue to receive correctly current emissions. These changes should be done only once and affect both platforms.

For Asia-Oceania, the position of the satellite is kept, so it is only necessary to resintonizar your receiver and configure it with the new settings.

Time To Adapt
In order to facilitate this operation to the users, time of overlap of broadcasts on both platformsare planned. This means that emissions with new parameters will start sometime before the end of the current. During that time of simultaneous broadcast with the current parameters and new users may make the change in the time of their choice.

The period of simultaneous issuance in the TVE Africa platform shall be 15 days (15.9.2011 to 1.10.2011) and in Asia will be 1 month (1.9.2011 to 1.10.2011). The respective schedules of both platforms will be the same at all times.

As of October 1 next cease emissions which have been carried out so far but will now only remain in the air new, so if not made before the indicated changes not be eligible to receive signals of RTVE in these continents countries. This process of simultaneous broadcast in two satellites will be supplemented in the coming days two labels that appear periodically on the screens, which shall notify the need to make the changes. These labels appear only on the two signals that will disappear on 1 October.

Indicated changes are only of a technical nature, so it will not be affected the contents of programmes or timetables. The quality of the signals of radio and TV, continue with the current level is not affected.
