Turner inks Bulgarian deal

Turner Broadcasting System Europe Limited has signed a broadcast affiliate agreement with the soon-to-be-launched Bulgarian channel News7.
Under the terms of the agreement, News7 will receive exclusive access to a range of video and newsgathering sources from Turner.
News7 will meanwhile give CNN access to its own reporting from Bulgaria, while CNN will also provide consultancy, training and operational support for the channel’s launch phase and beyond.
The agreement is the first of its kind for CNN in Eastern Europe. News7 will launch in H1 2013 and will be distributed terrestrially and via satellite.
