Tuner DM800 can be repair?

I have not tried using a 1000uf 25v instead of 680uf 10v to give you a sound advice.
My impression is that you can vary the uf value but keep the V value (voltage) fixed​

1000uf/16v work no problem i prefer it than 680uf most manuf.( philips ) always we replace 680uf with 1000uf

Here is tutorial from Mr. Johnny B it help

Removed: L32 (12v to tuner)
Symptom: The display, Dream Multimedia -> Error!
If the tuner is removed starts the box normally.

Removed: L33 (5v to tuner)
Symptom: None.

Removed: L34 (3.3V to tuner)
Symptom: box starts normally Tuner Status, No tuner present.

Removed: L35 and L40 (5v to tuner)
Symptom: Box died, No display, just two lan leds.

680uf 10v and
540uF 10v
1000uf/16v
that works.

try fixing Capacitor 680uF 10V as shown in the attached image.
540uF 10v also works.

After I add capacitor 1000uf/16v as you explained it works as new one.

For BCM4505 tuners, repair method was developed ?

Devices in the first run, 5 - 10 minutes can not get signal.

* No signal,

* Low signal,

* No HD channels ,

against defects, etc.

DVB-T broadcast in the same time to benefit.

After arriving order; I'll write performance by BCM4505 tuner.

In Signal adequacy; I hope do not live disappointing.

From the picture,they look ok.

However if any of them looks fat of charred it needs replacing.

To modify your tuner, you just solder any of these capacitors after point C110 on the board as in this picture.

680uF /10V capacitor
540uF /10v capacitor
1000uf /16V capacitor

My DM800 hd tuner can only receive horizental frequencies . There is no signal for vertical freq. but horizentals are woeking nice . i this one of tuners components should be out of order but i dont know which one ? Can someone help me ?
My tuner is Alps .
