Trouble scanning in Hellassat 39e.

I have a motorised system using a TM 5400 Super,Stab 100HH etc which I intend to upgrade in the Spring.I am experimenting with a Spiderbox 9000hd receiver as a FTA box.I am not bothered about the "Gift".
The receiver refuses to recognise both Usuals or DiSEqC 1.2 Protocol.(I realise there is a fault but it will not be cost effective to return the box back to the UK)I disconnect my TM reconnect the Spiderbox and the dish refuses to move.I parked the TM at 39e,disconnected said box reconnected Spider did a blind scan, result two transponders 10956 V and 11012 v (hd Transponder )!!!!!
Reconnected TM looped through to Spiderbox, leave TM on, move to each transponder on TM find same transponder on Spider scan in. I now have 10956 V, 12524 H, 12565 H, 12647 H, 12688 H. These will only work on the Spider if I leave the TM on ,not in standby.In order to receive 11012 V ( HD Transpoder) the TM must be in standby to allow the Spiderbox to pick it up. Question to the technically minded.What is going on please? These are the only Transponders I require. Location Murcia Spain.

hi mate have you flashed the spiderbox with the latest software ?? as the transponders and the defualt channel lists are only problem with this box

Thanks for replying supersatman. The spider is right up to date with both patches and softcams,that's why I do not understand why it will not respond to the Stab motor's commands.

how long is your coax run to the motor the spiderbox tuner might not be giving enough power ,
which cable did you run ?

In answer to the above questions,the cable run is around 14 metres,the cable used is 75 ohmn low loss satellite cable.
I am thinking of purchasing a TM 2600 motor and removing the Stab HH100.I do not like the backlash in the Stab.May also swap the Tm super high gain Lnb for a Inverto black ultra,see if I can pull in some weaker Transponders when I am sat hunting.
Hope this problem does not persist as this could well be the first flying spider in orbit.In all other departments its a good box.In the meantime back to my tried and trusted friend the Tm 5400 super.Just wish it was HD.

i use a stab h-to-h 100 with a triax td110 and it is spot on and imo is better than the tm2300/2600. if you are going to change your stab motor then take a look at the darkmotor as these get very good reviews on the sat/cab forums. regards mdt

agreed dark motors is the best option for a low budget
hope you get your issues sorted sounds like the tuner is at fault here
