Hi There,

I'm looking at this as well. As Manic said it was causing a loop and then hanging on 28.2E and specifically the S L Y HD channels.

Well, mysteriously, but thankfully, I just put it on 28.2E, 19.2E and 13.0E and it appears to be working normally again now.

For those of you who have the M4 using patch 17th May take a look and check.

Based on what I can see, it does look like whatever the problem was has been fixed now.

Yes I have Viark Sat 4K, it is very good but I need an additional box and I would not want the same one.
Chance to test a different box, but only if it works as I need.
Waiting for a new TM but it seems lacking and lacking as I mentioned yesterday, so I'm going for M4.
Hoping that a new patch will be released soon.

I honestly couldn't advise on support for M4. Buy another Viark 4k or Viark sat or any other FS supported stb.
Also as it's only a plug and play stb, or you will gain is a scart and rs232 output and lose 4k ability and iptv.

Manic01, do you know if AB Cryptobox 750HD or 800UHD are or will be FS supported?
Never found any patch so I doubt, but you are certainly better informed than me. Thanks.

Chipset ALI M3529 not Support .
it was mentioned already some time ago NO due to sheer Lack of anything....DDRIII Memory: 256 Mbyte what do you really expect ??

800UHD ALIM 2661 chipset
Flash Memory: 16 MB
DDRIII Memory: 512 Mbyte

slightly better specs but just another polished turd......but it's still a turd :rolleyes:

but please open new topic with further questions as this topic is regarding TM5402 only : )

No need to open a new thread, it was a single question by me because someone offered those AB Cryptobox receivers instead of the M4, but following your reply I do not consider them anymore.
The M4 seems the unique one other than Viark, or at least the unique one that can be easily bought in Europe.

Viark CAN BE BOUGHT IN Europe .
M4 another slightly better polished turd without support one positive is it has ability to move Diseq motor properly but tuner needed work as signal drops totally away when moving a dish which is why i quickly sold it off .
M3 was spot on but sadly was not upgraded properly to today's needs which is why TMate have pretty much gone bust
cant keep ignore customers and keep constantly screwing over their customers when they buy your product
it never ends well : )

Forgive me Barney and Mods, but just a helpful final note on the AB Cryptobox even though this is not correct thread.
It cannot do FS. I have one and installed the latest patch software last year. It allowed my serial number to be input on
the FS sub tool, so I paid thinking I would get it, but no channels cleared or worked. With the patch software on it,
it is capable of clearing BISS, PowerVU and other key based channels. It can also do softcam, etc. However, no FS.

Back to the M4 and this current patch of 17th May. It was causing problems last week and up to a few days ago as
previously reported, but is ok now. However, as @manic01 mentioned before, another more updated patch will be
required to deal with the latest FS update.

Don't quote me, but I think a new patch will come before the end of this year, if what I hope happens is enacted.

@kippysat our friend @barney115 and yourself and several others on here had their FS connections removed more than once on the M4.
As the saying goes , Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice........
You know the rest.............

Agreed barney, M3 was superb and especially the selectable blindscan frequency range.................Technomate businesswise are very distant from input/comments made from users and def future clients have been put off as a result........................like many here I have bought several TM models over the years and the fact that I did not go for the M4 was after reading a mountain of criticism/comments here at SU and other sites with indifferent action from Technomate.
Think most of us buy a new receiver, LNB, dish etc after researching and evaluating from several forums.

Shame, Technomate fallen behind the times. ⏰❓

There 1500 model back in the day was one of the best satellite boxes i've ever owned, i've still not come across anything as user friendly as that but as people say Technomate haven't moved with the times.
Still would love them to come out with a 4k box that supported FS.

The TM5402 M1 was excellent in its day.
I enjoyed the TM1500, still have one somewhere.
