TM F3/5 time shift not working

Hi Guys
Recently bought the TM F3/5 fully updated with the latest firmware 1.09p jan28 2014 and can't get the time shift function to work which is supposed to pause live tv,I have a 1 TB external drive via USB that works fine with everything else,any ideas?

Not sure if this helps because I have a 6800 Super but go to
Main Menu/USB/Disk Manager and enable Auto Timeshift.Cheers.
