I have a new TM-5402HD connected to 2 non motorised satellites via 2 way DiSEqC switch. But I can't seem to get them to switch. I must be setting them up wrong some how? I have followed the manual and tried everything but to no avail. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

Cheers

if you are certain that the switch is still ok then are you using the settings ... diseqc 1.0.lnb1 for first dish(press yellow to save) and diseqc 1.0.lnb2 for the second dish. did you switch off the power before connecting the switch as this can damage the switch. even if the switch is faulty you should still get sat-a/lnb1 as the signal just passes through the switch from lnb 1 on port a/1 and it only selects the second dish on lnb2/input b when the diseqc command is selected. try each dish as single feeds and if they are both ok then it looks like a faulty switch but you could also try another stb if you have one to rule out the technomates switching system, regards mdt

Thanks for your help. I did this but still no luck, looks like a faulty switch, and its new too- only cheap so not that much of an issue. When only one dish at a time is in it works but when both it doesn't. Tried all settings too but still on luck. I will try another stb too.

Tried another switch and an A/B manual switch but no luck. I must have the settings wrong somehow?

Sorted it, thanks for all your help. Did a factory reset and reinstalled everything and it worked.
